Player Settings

 

This is to change the settings of the player. All the fields are self explanatory. The various fields listed here are used for changing the look and feel of the player. The details of each setting are listed below.

Width:

This is a numerical field. Any numerical value can be entered here to change the width of the player thus changing the width of the actual played area.

Height:

This is also a numerical value to change the height of the player. Care should be taken to see that the width and height are kept in equal propositions (not equal numbers) to have an attractive player.

License Key:

This is used to add or change the logo inside the player. License key is a alpha numeric value and it works domain specific, that is if you are using the license key of www.mydomain.com you could not able to use it on www.my-domain.com though the contents are same for both the websites.

Logo:

This field is very important. This helps the owner to have their logo on the player so that the visitors or buyers get a feeling that this product or video is the websites property. This will have a real positive effect on the buyers. The logo can be a jpg, jpeg or bmp file. The logo is to be first uploaded in the server and the link for the logo is given here to display it on the player.

Logo Position:

The logo can be shown in various positions on the player. The position is the choice of the owner. For better appearance, it is advised to keep the logo on the bottom left position.

Logo Alpha:

This is a numerical value. This denotes the transparency of the logo in the player. If it is kept at 100% the logo will be opaque. And, if it kept as 0% the logo is more transparent that it will be invisible in the player. You can keep the alpha as per the requirement to maintain the color balance on the player.

Logo Target:

This is used to set the back link of the logo. You should enter the url in this field (Ex: http://www.mydomain.com). You must enter http:// with url.

Skin Mode:

Opencart video player has the option to display the skin or make it invisible. The skin is nothing but the control unit of the player. This can be shown only when the mouse hovers over it. Select Static to fix the controls and float to show the controls when the mouse is hovered.

Stretch type:

This is used to control the playable area of the player. The video can be stretched, screen-fitted, etc based on the video. 

Buffer time:

This is the actual time taken for buffering the video. The default value is 3, this can be increased or decreased. By increasing the buffer time, the video will take some time to load, but will be played without any interruption. By limiting it, the video will not be buffered, but will be interrupted in between for buffering.

Volume Level:

This is used to set the default volume level when will the video start. You should enter the default value of the volume level to this field. If it is kept at 100% the volume level will be heard full volume. And, if it kept as 0% the volume level that volume will be silent mode.

Autoplay: 

This is used to set the video will be played automatically or not when will see the particular video page.

Playlist Autoplay:

This is used to set the playlist will be played automatically or not. If you check the playlist autoplay, next video of the current video will be start automatically when will current video finished.

Playlist Open by Default: 

This is used to set the playlist will be opened when will be see the particular video page.

Server Settings

 

This is used to convert your videos to flv formet.

FFMPEG: 

FFMPEG installation path from your server. This is used to convert your videos to flv formet.

FLVTOOL2: 

FLVTOOL2 installation path from your server. This is used to stamp necessary metadatas to your flv videos.

Skin Settings

This is to change the settings of the player skin, you need, you can enable or disable the player skin.

Control Bar:

This is used to enable of disable the control bar dock inside the player.

Play Pause: 

This is used to enable of disable the play pause dock inside the player.

Progress Bar: 

This is used to enable of disable the progress bar dock inside the player.

Timer: 

This is used to enable of disable the timer dock inside the player.

Share: 

This is used to enable of disable the share dock inside the player.

Volume: 

This is used to enable of disable the volume dock inside the player.

Full Scree: 

This is used to enable of disable the full screen dock inside the player.

Play Dock: 

This is used to enable of disable the play dock inside the player.

Playlist: 

This is used to enable of disable the playlist dock inside the player.
